3 4 Greater appreciation for the right people to sort out social/nursing problems that might otherwise lead to admission. 4 3 Some very useful tips - Thanks. Omit the games and get on with the training please.
3 2 gives a good plan of trying to tackle medical complexities in the community 4 3 Good planning is essential for a successful presentation 5 3 Good ongoing csa practice the role of the community matron could have been described in more detail.

4 4 Its really useful to know about the excellent role of Matron. 4 4 It was a very interesting and useful presentation.I have learnt a lot. 4 4 All the CSA cases were very interesting and important. I really liked the game. Should have such activities occasionaly. A presentation could be arranged to discuss various other services available to when and how to contact them.
4 4 Very good presention and example from real life & what to do. 3 3 Interesting, but to long. 4 4 Good ongoing CSA practice. More discussion about difficult patient.
4 4 1) Learnt how to manage complex medical patinets and how to approach multi team disciplinary professional. 2) Learnt the role of community matrons 5 5 How to do a good presentation, DO's an don't 4 4 learnt about management plan for noctural enuresis - it was a good case as i didn't come across with such cases yet. I think it would be a good idea to have a Induction day in September when all the new trainees join the scheme. After introduction and explaining about WPBA and ground rules it would be nice to include in the programme ---- Jan secretan presentation, "presentation skills" byJohn, telephone consultation skills and general practice consultation skills. After that PD's can sit with the trainees and supervise the trainees with log entries and also show them how will it be validated. This would help the trainees to get "hands on " with eportfolio.
4 5 i have a much better idea of options available when trying to prevent an admission, particularly in the colchester area. Would feel happier now dicussing the options available now with a patient. 3 3 Tips for settling nerves, and the importance of informing the audience of what you will talk about, doing it and them telling them what you've done. 4 4 Really useful selection of cases and well prepared - thanks everyone. I loved the newspaper game, thank you Richard!
5 5 Interim care can be started quickly. 4 4 Great session though may have been better at beginning of year so we could have known it for our trainee presentations 4 4 Good revision for the subject matter. I find the debriefs at the end of each case really useful with practical advice from pd I loved the short game. Great team building session and a great way to wake us all up after lunch. Just as when you are in practice it is important to laugh and have fun with the people around you, so it should be in vts.

4 4 very good session the case discussion made it more interesting and it made us realise practicalities involved 3 3 good 3 3 I think the PD's should go through the cases first before doing the sessions so that any mistakes and omitted also it is a CSA mock session so cases should be more exam based rather that real surgery situations coz the two are very different. good afternoon session enjoyed the paper game ,,should have more fun in vts ignore the comment of no games and on with training

Great to have some sort of structure on how to prepare a presentation. 4 4 I need to learn more about enuresis. The various causes of erectile disfuction and how long it takes to sort it out. several appointments would most likely be necessary. Could we discuss ehical dilemmas or problem cases more frequently.
4 4 I found it useful be reminded that you can give out virtual information leaflets and to set the agenda for big topics. I'd like a session on 2 week rate referral guideline

3 2 Interim places can be arranged the same day. 2 2 An informative presentaion. make eye contact for a few seconds 4 3 We were able to learn from the cases and refresh our knowledge on the management of enuresis, erectile dysfunction and referring breast lumps. It was accepted that some people weren't familiar with these topics. I thought the feedback given to the whole group was a little too detailed and critical. Some of the doctors seemed to be shamed in front of the group. More info on what the community matron can offer. What we should and shouldn't be asking them to do. More on the range of community teams
