Clacton on Sea is a town with a wide variety of people from different social classes and groups. Our practice population reflects this variety and really does help you understand the health needs of professionals, businessmen, workers, unemployed and even drug and alcohol abusers.

 

We are on the periphery of Clacton, near to the factory Shopping Village and Morrisons, and close to the village of Little Clacton. Two roundabouts away from the A133 makes it easy to get away in the direction of Colchester and the A12.

 

Dr Guille started his own practice in 1997, having spent the previous 10 years in another practice in Clacton. We have a list size of 4,000 and deal with the workload by utilizing our practice team, including 95 hours of nursing time, plus HCA, 2 Counselors (including one in training), and by becoming a PMS site, a salaried doctor since August 2004.

 

A registrar coming to our practice will find a friendly and informal atmosphere. It is busy, with a multitude of different things going on at one time. In fact it has been commented, “that we offer more than many larger practices”.   We certainly upset the apple cart if you are expecting an old fashioned single handed practice with one room and one receptionist doing everything! We also like to use lateral thinking when looking at problems. We never do anything because “We’ve always done it that way” We welcome ideas from all our staff, and patients that improves the service we offer.
